Effectiveness

Case Analysis Effectiveness

This case analysis paper and project has been a tool for lessons learned for me. I believe working on a project would be more effective if it were done in a team oriented way. For instance, most people have strengths and weaknesses, and using those to it’s fullest would have a better outcome with problem solving. I myself am organized and am more comfortable with a structured environment. I am not a creative person, so I typically rely on others ideas when problem solving to come up with solutions, and I’d prefer to be in the planning phases on how to conduct any experiments and organizing teams and schedules. This project influenced my decision-making skills in that I had to come up with solutions to the problem presented in the analysis.

In doing this project, it has impacted my work related aviation projects in such a way that I have called a team meeting in the near future to discuss the way forward with how we will proceed. I feel having several people involved; it broadens the ideas and knowledge with current situations. I’ve also realized my strengths and weaknesses more than ever before and intend on applying those in my decision making for future plans and projects.  I also believe a project assigned with another student would be a good idea, no more than two people per team due to schedule conflicts while taking classes online. Having someone else to divide the information and tasking would be good experience.  In all, I believe this is a good project, but another suggestion that I believe would be helpful, would be a list of current issues to choose from. If a list was provided, I would have picked something I wasn’t very familiar with and probably learned something new. As it were, I picked a subject I was already familiar with and didn’t really learn anything new in the way of information pertaining to the issue.
